By accident i deleted a file of the Bob And Ray episode that included the skit of Tippy the Wonder Dog and the Cattle Stampede. It also included an Evening with Webley Webster and a skit involving a man moving to New York to sell porch chairs. I do believe it was a PRS or NPR episode and may have been an episode from April 17, 1984. Any help to lead me to a downloadable file is greatly appreciated.

Hello, Tmack; I believe I've found the show that you're looking for. I found it buried deep in folders within my Bob & Ray folder, but I don't know where I originally found it. For what it's worth, I can tell you that I downloaded it on August 30, 2016. This file is actually two episodes; the first is the file that matches your description and the second starts around the twenty-three minute mark.

I've added it to my 'practice page', so you can download it from there; it's the last file in the mp3 drop-down list, and in the player. I'll leave it up for a week or two, so grab it soon. Here's the link to my practice page:

This pair of shows will likely get its own Internet Archive page soon, so I have a question for you. You said that it may be from April 17, 1984; how did you come up with that date?

I also have one suggestion: backup drives are cheap now; get one to store a second copy of your OTR until you get it burned to a disk. It hurts when your main drive dies and you lose so much great history.

Thank you so much! Words can't express how thankful I am for your response. I knew it was out there somewhere. I was only able to hear it on a music app. The date I found was on this website

BNRonNPR: The Bob and Ray Public Radio Show IIndexI

It may be incorrect but that is the best info regarding the broadcast I found.
Hope this is helpful. Good luck on your page and please let me know when it becomes it's own Internet Archive page
